Old 76 Smokehouse Our absolute favorite! Located on Highway 76 in Branson West, Old 76 Smokehouse is a beloved spot where the locals like to go and where the true flavor of Branson BBQ shines.
Their brisket, smoked for over 16 hours, is the best around, offering flavors that are deep and unforgettable. You even get to choose how you like it—fatty, lean, or somewhere in the middle; my pick was the middle, and it certainly did not disappoint! Their unique BBQ sauce, reminiscent of the best Kansas City styles, adds a enjoyable touch to every bite.
The corn casserole also earns a perfect score. And yes, their double-decker key lime pie is as good as it sounds—a must-try that rounds off any meal perfectly. Drop by and let them know Autumn Creek sent you!
Oscar’s Famous Ribs Next on our list is Oscar’s Famous Ribs in Downtown Branson, where the BBQ is nothing short of legendary. They have won awards for their ribs, but one of my favorite dishes here is the White River Trainwreck—loaded with flavors that will transport your taste buds to BBQ heaven. Don't pass up on their beans, either; they're voted #1 in Branson for good reason!
Big D’s BBQ Big D's BBQ on Hwy 248 in Branson on offers a variety of great dishes. The Pitmaster sandwich here is one of my favorites, featuring brisket, sausage, and a kick of jalapeños for the brave-hearted. Pair it with their famous Pit Beans for a meal you won't forget. We especially enjoy trying their off-menu specials, which vary daily, and can be quite unique! It is no wonder this spot has quickly become a favorite for both locals and visitors.
Come and Take It BBQ At Come and Take It (CATI) BBQ, the quality of the smoke is evident in every bite. From top-quality meats to side dishes like their Smoked Mac n Cheese and Smoked Elote, everything screams excellence.
